THIS MONTH'S SHOW aired 7 pm May 26 on News/Talk 760 WJR. We talked about one of the most substantial economic challenges facing Michigan – the state’s brain drain. As we transition from a manufacturing-based economy to a knowledge-based economy, it is vital we attract and retain talented young people. Studies show Michigan’s college graduates are increasingly choosing elsewhere to live and work. These young graduates often choose where they want to live before they look for a job. We talked about how we can make them choose Michigan. Prosperity Agenda host Dan Gilmartin was joined by co-host Brian Boyle, publisher at Issue Media Group. Guests included Lou Glazer, president of Michigan Future, Inc., Tom Costello, president and CEO of the Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion, and Austin Black, realtor and founding member of City Living Detroit.
