From the Artist

"Although I currently live in Seattle, I was born in Detroit and raised in Royal Oak and all of my family is still in the area. Michigan is still my true home. It's very important to me, so I was excited to add my take. Truly embracing alternative forms of transportation, such as trains and bicycles, could be a good way to increase travel into, out of, and within cities, and between city and suburb, while also easing the environmental issues of having so many cars on the road. Michigan has long been known for its commitment to transportation and it's time we think and act accordingly in this new decade. Michigan has also been known for its farmlands, lakes and rivers, and its abundant wildlife. All of these things—city and country—are connected, and it's time that we act with this knowledge in the forefront of our minds!"
