  I pledge to spend money at a locally owned businesses on my closest main street or downtown once a week rather than a national box store or restaurant.
  I pledge to be involved in the crucial 2010 election by learning about the candidates, encouraging others to participate, become informed, and vote.
  I pledge to improve Michigan by contacting my representative in Lansing about an issue important to my community and me.
