Be a Let's Save Michigan 'City Champion'

Are you a champion of your Michigan hometown? Do you talk about it incessantly? Is your idea of a good time giving tours of your city to anyone that will come along? Where others see negatives you see what is great or what could be?

Well the Let’s Save Michigan campaign needs your help.

We are looking for Michiganders that are passionate about their cities and interested in creating positive change in their community and across Michigan.

What does it take to be a City Champion?

We are looking for volunteers that are willing to donate a couple hours a month to help promote their city and the things that make it special with short semi-regular blogs about things going on their city (here's an example), help organize unique and exciting grass roots events in their towns, or help develop insider’s tours of their communities.

By being a City Champion you can play a role in reshaping opinions and bringing about positive change in Michigan’s cities through advocacy and unique events, and in the process have a chance to engage with state and national leaders.

The Let’s Save Michigan campaign is a statewide effort to get Michiganders personally involved in creating the types of communities that are going to attract and retain the talented work force necessary to make Michigan economically competitive in the 21st century.
