Since 2002, Michigan has cut arts and cultural grants by 90%

Tell the Governor to Restore Arts Funding!

Our leaders are not recognizing how important arts are to the community. A strong arts culture keeps Michigan's culture vibrant, diverse, and exciting. It helps reverse the brain drain currently impacting Michigan, and keeps us together. Grand Rapid's recent art competition drew in thousands of participants, national attention, and helped revitalize the community. This is just one of many examples of why it's so important to promote the arts.

Unfortunately, the Governor has cut arts funding by 90% in the last 8 years. Join us in telling the Governor to reverse this decision and restore arts funding for 2010. Sign the form below!
