Don’t Forget to Vote on Tuesday

Here at Let's Save Michigan we've been asking you to pledge to make small changes that will make Michigan a better place in 2010. We'd like to remind you of action needed Tuesday, Aug. 3 by you that will affect major change for our state -- your vote in the primary election! Michigan is at a crossroads, and the 2010 election will determine who's leading the state as it passes through this critical time.
Before Tuesday, visit www.Michigan.gov/vote for a handy resource to:
• Determine if you are registered to vote
• Find your polling location
• Contact your local election official
• Learn to use voting equipment
• Find answers to frequently asked questions
• View your sample ballot
Be sure to check our previous post on smart voting with a list of candidate guides. Tuesday, Aug. 3, you’ll be voting for your pick for Governor, U.S. House and Senate, and state House and Senate seats in your district. The candidates with the most votes from each party will go on to campaign until the general election and reappear on the Nov. 2 general election ballot.
If you aren’t registered to vote for the primary election, you have until October 4 to register to vote for the general election.
